The Monastery in Leshani is dedicated to All Saints, and is the only monastery with such dedication in Macedonia. All Saints are regarded as the patrons of the dead, and it is supposed that this church served exclusively to the cult of the dead members of the monastic brotherhood: the church is surrounded by graves.

According to some data, the church All Saints was built and fresco painted in 1452. The church was probably built on the remains of an older shrine dating back to the 13th century, based on coins found in the surrounding graves. It is a small, one-naval church, built from stone and limestone.
Right next to it, the more recent church shown in the first picture was built.
At the time of visiting (August 2009), only the new church was open, since renovations took place in the old church.

A visit to Lesani can be combined with a visit to Velmej and Vrbjani, two other villages with old churches, which are also located between Kicevo and Ohrid.
