Volino

Volino is a small village near Ohrid. You will find it on the left side along the road from Ohrid to Kicevo.

The Church of St Nedela (St Sunday) is placed on beautiful grounds, with a huge white cross next to it. It was closed when we where there.

The church dedicated to St Bogorodica (Mother of God) is located on the cemetery of Volino. We did not enter, because when we arrived at the church, there was a wedding ceremony going on. An inscription on the cemetery wall mentions 1900 and 1966, maybe the church was built and renovated in these years respectively?

This modest church in Volino is dedicated to St Nikola. It was also closed.
