St Nikola in the village Galate was built in 1867.
The church was closed, but a local living opposite to the church called the caretaker who came to open the church for us.
We visited this church as part of a daytrip from Tetovo. Other places that we visited during this daytip were the Church of St Nikola in Chelopek, The ruins of St Mala Bogorodica and St Ilija in Stenche, the springs of the river Vardar in Vrutok and St Marena and St Nikola in Zubovce.
